TRAC International

Creating a Culture of Efficient Collaboration

Known for delivering unrivalled service provision and efficiency through innovation, whilst ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and environmental stewardship are maintained, the TRAC International Group provides engineering products and services across a variety of key business sectors. TRAC recognised that a better platform to manage knowledge would help to improve its operation and more importantly the service given to its customers. Valuable time and money was being wasted searching for documents that couldn’t always be found, so we were challenged to build an intranet that would cope with the growing demands of a business where knowledge is power and essential to doing business.

The Solution

Appetite for Business sought to drive efficiency by saving time and effort for TRAC employees by creating a 365 collaboration platform that not only helped employees organize, find, and share relevant information rapidly and securely but improved communications delivering the core values of service, safety, quality and innovation to all companies in the group.

The Result

Tactful Taxonomy

With a carefully defined architecture, the TRAC employees can now easily search through a wealth of information with clear navigation features and refiners. We made search intuitive and simple so that they can find what they need in real time.

Simplistic Design

A clean, simple and yet engaging design was key to quick user adoption. Making the technology work for the people, rather than trying to force a change in behaviour to suit the technology, was integral to the success of the project.

Complete Control

SharePoint permissioning has allowed TRAC to establish total control over their information. The ability to monitor who has access to their; corporate documentation, policies and procedures, has provided TRAC with comfort that their company information and data is secure, even when working remotely.
